How to Access Your Webmail

Webmail lets you check your @yourdomain.com email from any browser without setting up a mail app. It's useful when you're on a shared or unfamiliar computer, or you just want a quick way to send and receive mail tied to your domain.

Log in to webmail

  1. Open your browser and go to yourdomain.com/webmail, replacing yourdomain.com with your own domain.
  2. Enter the full email address, such as you@yourdomain.com, as the username.
  3. Enter the mailbox password (the one set when the account was created, not your cPanel or DirectAdmin password).
  4. Click Log in.

In cPanel

cPanel hosting presents a choice of webmail applications on first login: Roundcube, Horde, or SquirrelMail. Roundcube is the most commonly used and has the most modern interface. You can switch between them at any time using the app switcher inside webmail.

In DirectAdmin

DirectAdmin hosting typically opens directly into Roundcube after login, though the exact webmail apps offered depend on server configuration. The login address and steps are otherwise the same.

If yourdomain.com/webmail doesn't load, try webmail.yourdomain.com instead, or check the exact webmail address and mail server settings shown on the Email Accounts page in your control panel.

You can also log in to webmail directly from your control panel: open Email Accounts, find the mailbox, and click Check Email or Access Webmail next to it.
