How to Create an Email Account

Creating an email account on your hosting lets you send and receive mail from your own domain, like you@yourdomain.com. The steps depend on which control panel your hosting uses.

In cPanel

1. Log in to cPanel and open the Email Accounts tool.
2. Click Create.
3. Enter the username (the part before the @) and choose your domain.
4. Set a password, or click Generate for a strong one.
5. Click Create Account.

In DirectAdmin

1. Log in to DirectAdmin and open Email Accounts under the Email section.
2. Click Create Mail Account.
3. Enter the username and a password.
4. Click Create.

Once created, you can access your new mailbox via webmail, or set it up in Outlook, Apple Mail, or your phone using the mail server settings shown in your control panel.
