Every ZIPROF invoice marked Paid in your Client Area doubles as an official receipt. You don't need to request a separate document from support in most cases: you can download or print it yourself in under a minute.
Why You Might Need This
Many Kenyan businesses need proof of payment for their own bookkeeping, for a client or employer expense claim, or to support their KRA tax filings. Your ZIPROF invoice already includes everything needed for this: the amount paid, the date it was settled, the service it covers, and your unique invoice number.
How to Download or Print Your Invoice
- Log in to your ZIPROF Client Area with your account email and password.
- Click Billing in the top menu, then select My Invoices.
- Find the invoice you need. A settled payment shows a status of Paid next to the invoice number.
- Click the invoice number, or the View Invoice button, to open it.
- Click Download PDF to save a copy to your device, or click Print to print it directly from your browser.
The invoice number on the PDF is the same ZQ-prefixed reference you use when paying (for example, ZQ1203). Keep that number handy if your accountant or auditor needs to cross-check the payment later.
An invoice marked Paid in your Client Area is a valid receipt on its own. You only need to contact support separately if you require a fully KRA-compliant tax invoice with additional business details added, such as your company's PIN.
If the Invoice Still Shows as Unpaid
If you've already paid via MPesa but the invoice in your Client Area still shows an unpaid status, don't try to download it as a receipt yet: the payment likely hasn't been matched to your account. See What to Do If Your MPesa Payment Doesn't Reflect on Your ZIPROF Invoice to get it resolved first.
Finding Older Invoices
Your Client Area keeps a full history of every invoice ever generated on your account, not just the current billing cycle. Use the Billing > My Invoices page and filter by status or date to locate an older payment. Once you have an invoice open, see How to Read Your ZIPROF Invoice if you need help understanding any of its line items.
